Vintage Vogue

On the last Wednesday of the month i run a Stampin class with a lovely group of ladies.It's so nice to know, that for the few deceitful and underhanded people in this world,the more kind and friendly people outway these minorities.We made this card using the Vintage Vogue stamp set,very Vintage wheel and perfect plum ink pad.This stamp set is becoming one of my favourite sets.We used crystal effects on our fake button to give it a glazed effect.
Update on hallway- nearly there, last bit of glossing should be done tomorrow.Only problem i have now is a black dog with white gloss stripes,she will probably be all white by the end of tomorrow.

A word of wisdom......

After today the phrase that comes to mind is,keep your friends close and your enemies even CLOSER.

Mini Photo Album

Mondays i run an after school craft club.Today we made this mini photo album.It is made using 5 envelopes and patterned paper.It's a great idea for a little keepsake. I made one for my darling other half to remember our first holiday.Pity it was the year we had monsoon weather in July.Update on decorating-Stairs and landing  all painted just got framework to gloss,hallway all sanded down just need to paint i am hoping all will be finished by the weekend,fingers crossed.

Sad news

On Wednesday night my future mother in-law passed away suddenly.She will be missed greatly.Here is a picture of her taken at Diggerland.It was bitterly cold that day and we wrapped Shirley up with whatever we could.I was shocked to find out you have to pay for a death certificate not once but twice as you need two.We are now preparing for the funeral on 6th May.God bless you Shirley.

Box

On Saturday i went all the way to Soberton (100 miles round trip) to a mini madness class run by Amanda.I had a lovely day,we made this lovely box along with 6 lovely cards with a WOW factor,i will post these at a later date.
My lovely brother has been preparing walls ready to decorate my stairs, hallway and landing,so i have been busy tonight clearing away the last of the woodchip paper YIPPEE and clearing up the dust.Can't wait for it to be finished.

My first post

Hello,i was hoping to post photo's from the school Easter workshop i ran just before the end of term.Unfortunately i haven't yet received them so instead i am posting the 2 make and takes we made at our monthly team meeting run by Amanda my upliner.The first was this card, made using the Fox and Friends stamp set from the new mini catalogue.

The second project was this lovely box also make using the Fox and friends stamp set,i love this giraffe stamp.We also used the jewelry tag punch and the Tiny tags stamp set also from the new Mini catalogue.This box is ideal to hold the Love notes.
